Kindy Jinx 3: Red Egg

Every since I saw that what I did was good, meaning, to coach P in his spelling one day prior, I continue to follow this effort. At the sametime, it also gives me an idea how long or how far I should coach him.

Since the first few he got 100%, I then decided to less the “practice times” to maybe 2x. The reason I decided to lessen as I dont want to see me as nagging, I dont wnat to see myself “boiling” unneccesary, I dont want P to feel stressful… and when I did that, I got RED EGGS!!!! Although I told myself, “I dont have expectations”, but I guess my EMO tells me otherwise.

I even went to the extend to analyse his mistakes. *stupid of me*..but I needed to know the root cause.

1) He writes slow. Generally he cant write fast. So did the teacher say the next spelling word before one finishes? Because when I coach him, he does that a little slow to write/tell me.

2) He erases his ugly handwriting. This, I have told him NEVERMIND ugly handwriting. Just write n pass up.

3) he cant write the alphabets? Once I asked him, how come you did not do your HW? and he answered, because I dont know how to write. JUST IMAGINE…the kids have not even mastered writing skills and they are into SPELLING.

So I really pity him. But because he is in this situation, I have to “condition” his mind to suit the situation. So next up, my counter action plans. Oh, have I told you, Chinese Spelling has not started YET!!!!
